Coach Pearl Picture kisses his wife
What happened to Bruce Pearl being a blessed man and having a great family? He just filed for divorce 2 days before his 25th anniversary. This is going to break 6 hearts, his, his wife’s and all four children. There are no winners, even the one who thinks this is what they want will not win. No matter how many games Bruce Pearl wins, this has made him a loser.
“My family is behind me a 100%,” said the coach. “You’re looking at a guy who’s blessed. He’s blessed with a great family and great friends and the greatest opportunity you could ask for.”
I think Bruce Pearl is a bless man, and he does have a great family. Maybe it’s not just him. Have you ever thought about what his wife might want? Maybe she’s not happy either. I think it’s very ignorant to judge someone so cruely. Yes, it’s sad that he and his family will suffer the normal pains of a divorce, but it might be for the better. Like I said, it’s ignorant to think you know everything. He is a phenomonal coach, and just like Pat Head, I’m certain this very private issue will not affect his coaching season. And as for any fans (or former fans), he, the UT mens basketball team, and the entire fan base does not need or want useless, judgmental individuals associate with us. So, go worry about politicians. Judging someone’s personal endeavours is for politics, not college basketball.
